About the project

Three Michelin starred Moor Hall, in Aughton, Lancashire, is one of the UK’s most important listed buildings and has been given a new lease of life. Dating from the mid-sixteenth century, this grade II* listed house is home to the restaurant of award winning chef, Mark Birchall. Within a year the restaurant received its first Michelin star and a second the following year. Recently Moor Hall has been crowned the best restaurant in the UK.
