About the project
The Wellbeing Thesis is an online resource to help students navigate the ups and downs of postgraduate research. Created by the University of Derby and Kings College London, and project managed by Student Minds, I worked with their in-house designer to develop and implement the new brand and website. Starting with hundreds of pages of text we devised a clear hierarchy for the content, categorised into subject areas that reflected students’ concerns. This helped us define a site map and consequently a very clear user experience. Together we created a brand with personality as well as a set of gentle abstract illustrations that complemented the tone of the website.
